The exhibition presents works of contemporary art created for the context of 2023 thematic proposed by the Arab Cultural Center in Sibiu: the worlds of the Middle East & women's rights and the involvement of non-governmental organizations in the socio-cultural integration of migrants / refugees in Romania.
The exhibition project aims to promote intercultural dialogue through artistic means and to facilitate the integration of immigrants from Arab countries in Romania.
Aya Haj Omar / Aya Alhaj studied at Lebanese International University; she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design by an UN-LASER scholarship. She is currently studying a master’s degree in Interior Architecture by a Romanian Government Scholarship.
Since 2017 is a freelancer in interior design in Tripoli, Lebanon.
Her art works participated in group exhibitions (Tripoli 2012 and 2018).
She also completed one year in volunteering for the Council of International Composite for Scientific Researches ICSR.
